The exercises are the key to learn, understand and master the mathematical knowledge and an important part of mathematics curriculum and teaching. Math-exercise teaching can help students to sort out their knowledge, train mathematical thinking skills and develop mathematical ability in all aspects. However, the exercise lessons are not ideal:the teacher and students are trapped in time and exams tactics, the teaching effect is poor. The high consumption of inefficient phenomenon is not reasonable and deviated from the spirit of quality education. It prompts us to explore the effective method to improve the mathematical classroom teaching efficiency, find a relaxed and happy way to develop students’thinking ability.According to the questionnaire, I figured out the efficiency of the mathematics teaching in the classroom. By data analysis, I found some problems on the recitation:(1) Teachers’ ideas are old.(2)The exercises are not typical and teachers have no teaching goal.(3) Students are lack of interest for the monotonous teaching.(4) The teachers seek the classroom capacity and ignore the students’ learning effect.(5) Teachers and students are lack of interaction and don’t reflect upon themselves.(6)Time efficiency and cognitive understanding level of the students are not high. The measures were taken to improve the class efficiency of mathematics exercise lessons:Firstly, teachers should cultivate efficiency consciousness and update the teaching philosophy. Secondly, the teachers should select exercises and prepare for lessons by heart. Thirdly, the teachers select the best method for the exercise and pay attention to guide. The last, they should be particular about teaching art, introspect the teaching actively and help students to form good mathematics learning habits. The feasibility of the measures suggested in the third part to improve the class efficiency of mathematics was conformed through the experiments about similar triangles.
