A Study On Design And Management Of Students’Career Planning In Independent Colleges

With the constant development of higher education and social economy, the education of students’ career planning has gradually become an essential part of independent colleges to enhance their sustainable development. To date, little research has been done on the education of students’ career planning in both theory and practice and few of its results can be referred to. Therefore, the research in this field will not only substantiate the theoretical study of independent college students’ career planning, and a perfect education system of career planning will be of a great help for the students’ development, as well as increase the colleges’ profile so as to foster their healthy development.This study, based on interview and questionnaire survey, explores the reality and necessity of design and management of students’ career planning, focusing on such aspects as formation of independent colleges, characteristics of independent colleges and their students and the status quo of education of students’ career planning in independent colleges. Meanwhile, it comes up with some good suggestions on how to carry out students’ career planning in independent colleges on the basis of experiment from some excellent independent colleges in both the province and the country. Finally, this study discusses the management of students’ career planning in independent colleges from the following three perspectives, namely, transformation of ideas, perfection of mechanism, and measures of guarantee.
