A Comparative Study Of The Difference Between Chinese Andamerican Professional Basketball Culture

In this paper, the characteristic and difference of professional basketball between Chinaand the United States were discussed via literature review method, logical reasoning methodand comparative method, which based on the comparison of the main characteristic ofnational culture in China and United States. In order to seek for the developmentcountermeasures of Chinese culture of professional basketball, the main characteristics of theculture of Chinese professional basketball and its influence factors were discussed, whichprovided the references of the improvement of Chinese basketball and the sustained andhealthy development in the future, furthermore, the excellent span from sports level tocultural dimension was possible to been achieved, for which further provided thedevelopment countermeasures of culture construction of CBA professional basketball. Thispaper argues that:1."Collectivism" is the core of Chinese culture and "individualism" is the core ofAmerican culture.
