Since China’s reform and opening, the high savings rate has been paid muchattention.Compare China’s savings to national savings of developed countries andemerging marketing economic countries, our country is the highest. Since reform andopening-up, China’s overall savings rates are rising in the mid90s peak, and then declinedslightly, but the savings rate is still more than40%. Saving is one of the importantinfluence economic growth factors, so the savings changing and decided to savings factorshave important economic significance. In many factors of the influence of the savings, thepopulation structure change in savings and affect economic growth has been paid more andmore attention.In the1970s family planning policy implementation and population expected lifeextension, which speeds up our demographic transition and the pace of ageingdevelopment. An aging population, not only become the population development strategyabout one of the basic factors, and for economic and social development, it is also one ofthe decisive influence.From the angle of population structure, this paper analyzes population structuretransformation and aging degree of residents savings as well as to the impact on economicdevelopment, based on the structure of the present and future trend analysis, from themacro and micro level are discussed an aging population on the residents’ savings andeconomic influence. This research mainly divided into the following several parts.The first part, analysis and forecast the population aging in our country the presentsituation and trend. Using the2010population census data to forecast the population age structure in2010-2025, and analysis the characteristics of the aging population and eachage level. According to the population and the sustainable development theory, combinedwith the aging of the population impact, analysis the ageing of population relationship witheconomic sustainable development. The conclusion shows that the future aging and besideswill continue to increase, an aging population directly or indirectly affect the developmentof the economy.The second part, first of all to define the main research object, identified as residentssavings classification and range, and then to our country residents savings the presentsituation and the characteristics are analyzed and studied, and compared with the countriesall over the world. Based on the above analysis, think preventive motivation is the mainresidents’savings motive.The third part, firstly analyzes the aging of residents savings influence the way, takingthe life cycle and the basis of the theory of constructing an aging population on theresidents’ savings econometric model, using panel data from the first national perspective,and then construct the eastern region respectively, and the western area of the measurementmodel, and finally, using the granger test that the increase of the elderly population is acause of resident savings structure deposit increased main reason, through a series ofquantitative analysis the increase in population of elderly population structure will reduceresidents savings, reduce children’s population will increase residents savings, theconclusion with the increase of regional economy development degree, presenting thetrend of increase.Finally, the aging of residents savings produce influence extended to the entirenational economy national economy influence, mainly from to consumer, industrialstructure, social security system and economic growth are four aspects to carry on theanalysis, in a word, the arrival of aging population, to our country economic society hasbrought great challenges, how to reduce the impact of aging population, make good use of“silver economic”opportunities is imperative.Impling age population development policy, will avoid the economic developmentand reform in detours, reduce social instability factors, and promote the healthy andsustained development of social economy.
