Campus is not only the foundation of education but also the key environment for students’growth. With the development of society, many social issues spread to campus and thus the campus’s security managements are confronted with severe challenges, while various contradictions, safety risks and problems exist in campus and become complicated. In recent years, criminal activities continually occur among the children and the students, which bring severe pains for the victims’family, their pear and teachers. These kinds of malignant cases exert the adverse impact towards the society and in the meantime give warns to the campus’s security managements.In light of this, how to maintain a sound environment for campus and protect the safety of teachers and students becomes a pressing issue for the current education administration and campus management. Accordingly, this paper combines the documents related to this topic and the characteristics of primary school to systematize the concepts of "crisis","crisis management","campus crisis","the management of campus crisis", etc. Based on the theory of crisis management and the reference of the foreign campus crisis management, this paper will analyze the crisis issue happened in the Meiyuan West Primary School, Haizhu Dist, Guangzhou, which aims to discuss the different strategies for different stages of the campus crisis management. First, the stage for prevention and detection:to strengthen the campus crisis awareness; build up a well-round crisis-warning system, an effective process for emergency handling and a management structure for campus crisis management; form a safety management network; make a personalized plan for campus crisis drills; and publicize the culture of campus crisis detection. Second, the stage for emergency: adhering to the principles of emergency speed the first, the minimum casualties, and the simplest and priority for the most effective plan; build up widespread channels for the information exchange of campus crisis management and a system for releasing public opinions. Third, the stage for the evaluation:to set up a recovery mechanism and form a high-effective evaluation system for campus crisis management.
