A Study On The "New" Empty Nesters Women’s Welfare Needs

Implementation of the family planning policy, the traditional family with many children quickly evolved into a " family of three " core family, the only child due to school, job, marriage, etc. leave home, live with their parents end state, when their parents also now in middle age, compared to families with many children, the only child of parents will advance into the " empty nest " in the past, the empty nest elderly family phenomenon, now also showing middle-aged and younger age of the trend nuclear family parents more time in the empty nest stage of life, as urbanization progresses, this family model, which is the "new" empty nesters, will become the dominant mode of urban family structure.Due to differences in male and female physiology, psychology, social roles and other aspects of middle age into the " empty nest" status for men and women there are also differences in the impact of the middle-aged "empty nest" may give women the psychological or physiological groups bring a range of negative impacts, government and society, the family should be given more attention and support groups to understand their welfare needs, the use of various resources to help them get through the middle-aged empty nestIn this study, the "new" empty nesters women surveyed, two studies by means of questionnaires and interviews, come to the "new" empty nesters presence welfare needs of women in employment, physical health, mental health and recreational services and other areas, Meanwhile, combine empirical analysis found that their welfare needs and can not be well positioned to meet and achieve. I learned from existing policies, and community development departments analyze the impact of these aspects need to achieve their welfare factors. Finally, the use of existing resources, such as from the three levels of government, business and the community to help achieve the "new" empty nesters female social welfare needs.
