Among the many initiatives in health promotion, participation in physical exercise is the most direct, most effective and convenient way. Thus, in recent years, research on the status of teachers in physical exercise gradually attracted academic attention.Xiaochang County, Dawu two national poverty counties in northern Hubei Province. Through the analysis of the survey results, the following conclusions:(1) northern Hubei poor counties in rural primary and secondary school teachers work long hours, heavy workload, arrange their leisure time is:36.84%of people use computers, mobile Internet, entertainment,31.58%of people do farm work, housework.(2) poor counties in northern Hubei rural primary and secondary school teachers in the age structure of aging, poor physical health, the prevalence rate of90.79%.(3) Most rural poor counties northern Hubei Teachers correct understanding of physical exercise, the main motivation for physical exercise is to enhance health and prevent diseases. (4) Poor counties in rural northern Hubei Teachers select content on multiple physical exercise with less investment, facility requiring a simple project-based, male teachers to choose the most is jogging, walking, basketball, women teachers to choose the most is walking, dancing, Walking; participation in the form of exercise is "with friends and colleagues exercise"; exercise is in the morning and evening time periods based; training establishments selected to the school playground, the main side of the road; few times a week to exercise, time short, low strength.(5) Poverty-stricken counties in Northern Hubei rural primary and secondary teachers in lower monthly income, low consumption level in sports, sports clothing and shoes consumption is mainly ignored the consumer invisible sports products.(6) Factors Affecting Teachers physical exercise northern Hubei Rural Schools in poor counties are:work pressure, household chores and more, there is no time, lack of equipment, there is no suitable fitness venues, lack of organization, no technical guidance, low wages, exercise and health awareness weak sense.Suggestions:(1) should step up publicity efforts to raise awareness of rural primary and secondary school teachers in physical exercise, let ideological awareness of the importance of physical exercise and positive action.(2) Education authorities should take effective measures to reduce the workload of teachers in rural primary and secondary schools, to reduce the workload and improve their economic treatment for rural primary and secondary school teachers to participate in physical exercise to provide material security.(3) Government should increase investment in rural primary and secondary school sports facilities investment, so that teachers have the right to participate in physical exercise venues and equipment.(4) Schools should play the role of physical education teachers, sports’talent, make its influence and improve the sports ability of other teachers, in a planned and organized to other teachers teach sports knowledge and basic skills, to master one or two is suitable for the sport itself.(5) Schools strive to build the atmosphere of physical exercise, play a role of trade unions and school sports group coordination organization, timely organization of all kinds of small variety suited to the characteristics of the school teachers’ professional sports or fitness activities, to motivate and arouse the enthusiasm of teachers participating in physical exercise.(6) To carry out the primary and secondary school teachers in a medical system for rural primary and secondary school teachers timely understand oneself body health, so as to motivate teachers to participate in physical exercise.(7) School leaders should be physically, play a model role, take the lead to participate in physical exercise, and organization between the school and the school sports activities to stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers of physical exercise. |
