With the constant development of the market economy, the social life in our country has taken a great place. In cultural filed, all kinds of external thoughts,culture, trend of thoughts and genre interwove and collided, breaking the monotonous and closed situation and trigging the diversified trend in social thought and culture. Under this context, university students who are sensitive to all kinds of changing thoughts will definitely be affected by the double sword of multiculture. On one hand, under the background of multiculture, all kinds of culture will bloom, which can widen students’horizons and enable them to play their subjectivity. On the other hand, with theconstantly external culture shock, western development countries, especially America, use every methods they can to westernize and divide our country, outputting their ideology, thought and culture, life styles and values, with various ways. That causes the growing university students become more confused and puzzled. They, on one hand, easily identify themselves with global ideology and create an international idea, on the other hand, they gradually weaken their Chinese nation identity. Thus, to ensure the healthy development of our country’s social economy, we should foster and strengthen university students’ ethnic identity to promote the harmonious socialist society construction.The research of the thesis adopt the methods of survey, literature research, observation, history and comparative research and analyzes the situation of university students’ethical identity. This, under the background of multiculture and external culture shock, amis to explore how to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of the ethical identity education in our country’s university to cultivate the students’ethical identity, regulate their patriotic act, so that they can be well-prepared to be the constructors and successors of the socialist modernization course with Chinese characteristics. The thesis consists of two parts---introduction and text. The introduction focuses on the related background, research meaning, current situation of the research at home and abroad, research ideas, research methods, the paper’s emphasis point and innovation point of university students’ethical identity under the multiculture context. The text comprises three parts. The first part introduces the important concepts of the paper,mainly involving culture and multiculture, identity and ethical identity and some related ones. The second part mainly based on the questionnaire to analyze the current situation of university students’ethical identity under the background of multiculture, summarizes the general characteristics of college students’ ethical identity, then analyses the causes of the weakening ethical identity among university students with the data collected from the feedback, including the invasion and infiltration of the foreign culture, the rise of the Internet and the popularity of Internet culture, the prevalence of popular youth culture and social popular culture, the surges and spreading of historical nihilism thought, etc.. The third part puts forward the principle of cultivating and enhancing college students’ ethical identity under the multicultural background, including leading college students’ mainstream culture with socialist core value system and treating foreign culture dialectically, enhancing cultural awareness and cultural self-confidence. Proposeing measures including strengthening ethical and historical education and study, building language study cultural environment,reinforcing traditional culture education, improving the quality of ethical spirit education. |
