Study Of Risk Management In Practice And Training Base Project Construction Of Changchun Guanghua College

Strengthening the construction of institutions of higher learning in China isone of the important pillars to support socialist modern education, as well as animportant guarantee for developing our country through science and education.With social division of labor increasingly refined and the competition in themarket being increasingly fierce today, private colleges and universities shouldstrive to make their own path. This also constitutes an integral part of theconstruction of colleges and universities of our country. In line with Paper No.26from our Education Ministry---Establishing and Administrating Measures forIndependent Colleges and Paper No.16[2006] from our Education andDevelopment Committee---The Interim Provisions on Establishing OrdinaryUndergraduate Schools, adhering to their idea of running-school---all for thestudents, Changchun Guanghua College increases the investment to theirpractice-base construction projects in Practice and Training Base District, soas to help their students to acquire better practical ability and certain expertise,and thus get them prepared for entering society. The above mentionedinvestment of our school involves establishing another school campus, whichis faced with a number of problems. The first one is that we should do it with along-term development construction goal, instead of being in haste, sinceeducation is the foundation for the long-term country-building project. Thesecond is that we should make complete argumentation and planning beforethe real construction. We must ensure that the newly-built can be used long,and can satisfy the diversified needs of students as well as of society. Only inthis way, can we the waste and loss, which is a very common problem arisingin and hinder the construction of practice-base projects. This thesis adopts the analytic hierarchy process, focuses on theinvestment risk of Practice and Training Base construction project ofChangchun Guanghua College, in reference to studies of construction projectrisk management of other industries. The thesis will study and analyze the riskmanagement, and explore ways to turn risk into chance, thus to help thePractice and Training Base construction project of Changchun GuanghuaCollege to successfully avoid or reduce the risk.This thesis firstly sets out the background and significance of this study,and introduces the main content and study methods used; Then elaborates therelated risk-managing theory concerning Practice and Training Baseconstruction project of Changchun Guanghua College；after that the thesisgives an introduction of the general situation and characteristics of the Practiceand Training Base as well as project risk-identifying methods, and thenanalyzes and identifies the Practice and Training Base project’s risk elements;using the analytic hierarchy process, the thesis then evaluates and analyzesthe Practice and Training Base project risks, arraying the risk elements; Basedon the analyzing and categorizing, the thesis tries to find correspondingmeasures for controlling and preventing the risks. Finally, the thesis concludesthe whole study and proposes research prospects.
