With the economy era and the continuous improvement of China market economicsystem, the thinking and behavior of the post90s college students have many newcharacteristics. The correct understanding of the educational objects and environment, timelyand accuratly comprehensive master of the new characteristics of the post90s college students,and strengthen and improve ideological and political education, which is very important andurgent, but also enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education and targetedneeds.In this paper, the introduction of the research background is summarized, with thesignificance and methods at home and abroad. The current research status and the innovationpoints are also summarized.In the second part, the paper discusses the thought characteristic of the post—90s collegestudents, and the results were came from the questionnaire survey. Including thequestionnaire survey, we can draw the result from the post—90s college students areinterested in reading, active, generous, but with weak in economic independent consciousnessand psychological. They have strong self-centeredness and social competition consciousness,but weak in cooperation consciousness. Besides their personal development goals are toohigh.After analysis in the investigation of post—90s college students ideologicalcharacteristics, the reasons for the formation of its ideological characteristics are also of theanalysis from the international economic and cultural environment and domestic educationalenvironment.Finally, on the basis of the previous analysis, puts forward to strengthen and improvepost “90” ideological and political education work Countermeasures.
