The topics of talents and career development cannot lose others attention.University teachers’ career development is important, because they are the key forceon bringing up talents. One’s career success is not only including salary andpromotion, but also including the sense of career satisfaction and career success.Meanwhile, it is critical to learn the factors which influent the career success,especially career calling. Career calling reflects people’s real eager to a job,and itinfluent people’s career selection and investment. At the same time, POS plays a keyrole at career success.This research focus on University teachers, and it attempt to learn therelationship between career calling, POS and career success through theory andempirical research.According to previous studies, career success concluding both objective factorsand subjective factors; career success is impacted by many psychological factors.Career calling can improve one’s performance, salary and job satisfaction. Meanwhile,POS gives people the impaction of organization. And it affects staffs’ workperformance. Thus, it is important to career success.After summary the previous researches, this study build up the theory modelwitch considers career calling as the independent variable and career success as thedependent variable. Meanwhile, we try to test POS’ regulatory effect between careercalling and career success. Then, we proposes eight hypothesis: the career calling hasa positive effect on university teachers’ career success; POA is a moderator variable atthe relationship between career calling and career success.This study collects data through questionnaires in different areas and universities.After analysis by SPSS18.0, we have the following conclusions: First, career calling has a positive effect on promotion, the sense of career satisfaction and the sense ofcareer success. Second, POS plays the moderator role between Career calling andcareer success. Third, POS has a positive effect on the sense of career satisfaction andthe sense of career success.According to the research, this paper puts forward the correspondingmanagement proposals to teachers and universities. At last, I put forward the futureresearch prospects based on the limitations of this study.
