Improvement Of Accounting Information System In Colleagues And Universities In China

In the mid1950s, computer started to play roles in salary management, sincethen it quickly spread itself to the main fields in accounting. With the rapiddevelopment of Internet, the emergence of network economy, fast exchange speed ofinformation and integration of sources, network technology began to play a positiveand significant role in the field of accounting to strengthen the management ofenterprises and institutions. Therefore, during the constant reform and development ofcolleges and universities, to improve the management level, strengthen themanagement of accounting information system, set up an accounting informationmanagement system to adapt to the information age is an inevitable choice ofinstitution.In this paper, based on the theory of university accounting information system,from the prospective of goal, structure and implementation of accounting informationsystem in colleges and universities, conclude the improvement proposal. With theintroduction on the development of accounting information system, shows theadvantages of network accounting information system; Through the introduction ofcharacteristics, environment, structure and process of accounting information systemin colleges and universities, combining with the case of FZ school, analyses thepresent situation of accounting information system in colleges and universities, andthe present problems to demonstrate the necessity of improving accountinginformation system; Finally, the paper puts forward the principle and procedure of theimplementation of network accounting information system, points out the bestimplementation path for network accounting information system in colleges anduniversities-the University Resource Planning URP (University Resource planning).Purpose of this paper is to illustrate how the college network accountinginformation system provides service for the users with the view from analysis of theuniversity internal relations, organize and integrate the whole information system. Colleges and universities should improve the current accounting information system,implement the network accounting information system, and applied it to themanagement, to monitor and control the financial activities of colleges anduniversities, in order to make the management more standardized, rational andcompetitive.
