| Physics is a science of experiment, physics will not exist without experiments. Creativepersonnel is needed in modern society, so the way to coach creative personnel is becoming animportant issue for each educators to think about. For a high school physics teacher, the highschool physics experiment need to play the role,to improve quality and to train the innovativeability of the students. Now low cost innovative physics experiment (LCIPE for short) teachingis becoming the focus. New high school physics course standard shows that the new teachingcore concept is’ From live to physics, back to society from physics’, so transforming daily lifeequipment to experiment equipment and doing physics experiments with daily life equipment isthe connotation of LCIPE.This project dedicates to researching high school LCIPE, including the following topics:first, to expound the low cost physics experiment and the supported theory, includingconcept definition of LCIPE, difference and similarity with unconventional experiment andself-made teaching equipments.Second, the author expound the feasibility, urgency and necessity of implementing LCIPEin high school from the aspects of new physics course standard, improving experiment skills ofhigh school teacher, meeting the new course teaching target demand and improving the students’manipulative and innovative ability.Third, to expound the characteristic, the philosophy to follow and common method ofLCIPE; to list some examples in high school physics experiment teaching.Fourth, according to the teaching practice and effects study, the LCIPE have unique effectson arousing the learning interest, cultivating the innovation ability and operational ability of thestudents.The thesis consist of5chapters. Chapter one discuss the raise, background and significanceof the project, the research situation of LCIPE in China and around the world. After study of therelevant education and psychology theory, physics course standard, Chapter two formulate thetheoretical foundation of implementing LCIPE, including the modern educational thought,physics experiment teaching theory, high school student psychological characteristics. Chapterthree expound the sort, characteristic and common design method and following principle ofLCIPE, based on the results of the predecessors and the teaching practice of the author. Chapter four, to introduce the common used experiment resources and some typical and practicalexamples of LCIPE, these examples can shows the LCIPE activity process and the effects oncultivating the students’ scientific literacy. Based on the LCIPE teaching practice andachievement, Chapter five demonstrating the teaching achievements of implementing LCIPE inteaching practice, analyzing the effect of LCIPE on improving the students’ learning interesting,learning performance and innovation ability; Confirming the feasibility of implement LCIPE inhigh school from theoretical and practical aspects, giving advice to the way and method toimplement and popularize LCIPE in high school. These activities offer a very good referenceto the high school physics teaching reform, and gained experience for the physics teachers ofimplement and popularize LCIPE in high school. |
