Entrepreneurship Education refers to cultivating people’s entrepreneurial awareness, way of thinking, skills, and other overall qualities, and ultimately preparing students with some entrepreneurial capabilities. Entrepreneurship education is regarded as the third passport of education by the UNESCO and is given to equal importance as academic and vocational education. Entrepreneurship education has become an important trend in the world of higher education and employment development. With the development of China’s market economy, more extensive needs of entrepreneurial talents have emerged. As China’s educational reform and social and economic development move forward, entrepreneurship education has become an urgent need. Carrying out entrepreneurship education to cultivate innovative entrepreneurial talents is the core of the implementation of quality education in colleges and universities and is a forward-looking strategy for cultivating high quality employees of new century.Based on the introduction of undergraduate Entrepreneurship Education in and abroad and the effect of governance theory on its management, this paper, in case study of Nanjing Institute of Technology, explores its entrepreneurship education and the problems exist.Taking Nanjing Institute of Technology as a case study, this paper explores the current situation of Entrepreneurship Education which has been carrying out for years and the problems existing based on the introduction of undergraduate Entrepreneurship Education in universities at home and abroad as well as the effect of governance theory on its management. In connection with the subject, mode and process of Entrepreneurship Education management, an empirical survey is conducted in depth through document analysis and questionnaire survey to analyze the main problems and corresponding causes in the round in Entrepreneurship Education concept, organization of the faculty, the curriculum system, service system, external conditions, content and process management, and entrepreneur cultivation. The discussion is mainly made from both Entrepreneurship Education itself and public governance in universities, in which subject participation, content improvement, as well as process control and construction of subjects interaction mode are emphasized.
