Idiom a Xiangyan conventional, meaning special fixed phrases, is the essence ofChinese vocabulary, and is an excellent reflection of the culture of the Han nationality. Themain content of the language teaching inherit and carry forward the fine Chinese culture aswell as learning and application of Chinese vocabulary, idioms, primary and secondarylanguage teaching is closely related. Teachers should pay attention to the idiom teaching,students should have some knowledge of the idiom, is also very necessary efforts to learnidioms.This paper is divided into four parts, the first part is the introduction, including theissues raised, literature review and research methods. Raised about the problem, described"four need: society today stressed the need for traditional cultural regression; to cultivatestudents love the language of the motherland emotional needs; needs of the charm of theheritage of Chinese Language; realize the need for convergence of the idiom teachingelementary school to junior high school.
