Problems,Reasons And Countermeasures Of University Students’ Academic Atmosphere

Academic atmosphere is a type of social atmosphere which academic community and its members show in the academic activities. University students’ academic atmosphere is the atmosphere which university students show in study, research, academic assessment these three academic activities. Overall, university students’ academic atmosphere is good, but there are also some problems. It is of great significance to study the problems about university students’ academic atmosphere for raising awareness of the importance of construction and comprehensive strengthening and improving university students’ academic atmosphere construction.Based on the existing research of university students’ academic atmosphere, this thesis analyses the present situation of university students’ academic atmosphere through the investigation and the reality of seven different university students’ academic atmosphere, and finds that the mainly problems are: cheat on the exam, copy operation, paper plagiarize, ghostwrite paper, fabricate experimental data, multiple contribute of same manuscript, false attribute,fake academic experience, did not adhere to the evaluation criteria, help cover up other students academic misconduct, and so on. Liberal students and science students have differences in academic atmosphere. There are three kinds of reasons for university students’ academic atmosphere. The social reasons are: social atmosphere pollution, irresponsibility of journal, bad effects of peer groups. The school reasons are: lack of education, irresponsibility of teachers, defective academic system, lack efficiency in publishment. The students themselves reasons are: low level of academic standards and moral cognition, deception and false, lazy, trust in luck.To solve the problem of university students’ academic atmosphere, firstly, government and society could build social credit environment, strengthen the supervision of public opinions, strengthen journals in the sense of responsibility; secondly, schools could enhance the promotion of academic atmosphere education, improve academic evaluation mechanism, cultivate good teaching, strengthen the supervision and investigation of university students’ academic atmosphere; thirdly, students should improve moral cultivation and academic attainment by themselves.
