Learn to be able to learn, learn to be cognitive, learn to solve problems and learn toshare the same living environment. These are four main strategies for the21st centuryeducation philosophy, which are of great importance in modern society. Effectivelearning strategies can motivate the learners to acquire the accomplishment with half theeffort.With overall goal of enabling students to adapt to social life and acquire basicmathematical knowledge, skills, ideas and activity experience required in theirdevelopment, the basic education curriculum reform has been stable in advance.Therefore, the teachers, with the idea of new curriculum standard, not only have the taskof teaching knowledge and skills, but also of teaching the students how to learn, agradual transition from the traditional “teaching” as the center to the helping students“learning” as the center. The research of Mathematical learning strategy in junior high isof great importance.This paper with the framework of Piaget’s cognitive theory, constructivist view oflearning and meta-cognitive theory is an attempt to analyze characteristics and theimpact of junior high school mathematics learning. Based on questionnaires andinterviews, this paper analyzes the application of the learning strategies by students indifferent grades, classes, and tries to find out the causes of affecting the mathematicallearning strategy in terms of knowledge level, competence and non-intelligence andbring forth the teaching principals and measures to promote junior high student learningstrategies.
