With the deepening of the university educational reform, both the modes and methods of the teaching management need to be changed to adapt the rapid development. How can educational administration system play a better role in such process? Adopting the methods of interviewing, questionnaire, data analysis, etc; this article, based on the current situation of the school teaching management, takes the development of educational administration system of Chengdu Sport University as the research project to thoroughly analyze deficiencies and problems in the existing school educational administration system. The thesis also proposes new ideas of educational management system to lay a theoretical foundation for future software development, based on current educational management system.After study on the present situation of the teaching management and the operation of the educational administration system, the research first finds out some insufficiencies and problems. Then by comparison and analysis of the developing pattern and platform that the system has already realized, the thesis tries to create the operation environment, which is suitable for the further development of the new system, based on the consideration of maintenance, upgrade and operation. Thirdly, through comprehensive and systematic study of the function of whole system, the thesis suggests keep practical and reasonable functional mode, and apply prefecture and solvable function to keep the security of system. Fourthly, it also proposes, based on existing two servers, to add one more independent server on LAN to store original data. For the last part of the thesis, it displays the realizable designed modules.Compared to existing system, the new system which designed in the thesis can accommodate more users, including department leaders, counselors, dean of teaching-research section, etc; add the function of examination management, mainly used in various kinds of test registration, examination and invigilation schedule arrangement, statistic of invigilation staffs’workload, etc; improve the method of issuing and recycling teaching tasks, and perfect the interface of curriculum arrangement to be more reasonable,more scientific and quicker.
