The rapid development of today’s society, competition is increasinglyfierce, the psychological pressure is more and more big, the mental health problem ispaid more and more attention. This study adopts literature datamethod, questionnaire survey method, the use of physical self-esteem scale (PSPP)were tested to a university in300different majors, different grade students and theself-esteem scale. The obtained data were treated with SPSS17.0, using descriptivestatistics, variance analysis and other statistical methods to explore the difference ofcollege students physical self-esteem, athletic and non-athletic university studentsphysical self-esteem differences, physical self-esteem and self-esteem correlationanalysis.The results are as follows:The difference between professional sports and non-sportsmajors. There was significant difference in the body self-esteem, physical self-worth, physicalcondition, physical attractiveness, physical fitness, physical education students is higher than thenon-sports majors; there was no significant difference in movement ability; in the bodyself-esteem and five dimensions, martial arts students body self-esteem scores the highest,followed by art student, again is the Department of sports medicine college students, the lowestscore is administered by the Department of College students.The difference between grades. Thesecond grade students and the third grade students has no significant difference in thebody self-esteem. The difference between the sexes. Boys and girls score in physicalself-esteem, physical self-worth, exercise capacity, physical condition, physicalquality had no significant differences, but there are significant differences in terms ofphysical attractiveness, boys than girls. whether differences between only-child.Only-child students and not the one-child students have no significant difference inthe body self-esteem. The differences of family economic conditions. Familyeconomic conditions are good students and family economic conditions generally,family economic conditions are very poor students have no significant difference inthe body self-esteem. Physical self-esteem of students, contribute to the overall self-esteemenhancement.
