The theory Of multiple intelligence was put forward by Harvard University psychology professor Howard Gardner. The theory points out that intelligence are made up by nine kinds of brainpower. They are Linguistic Intelligence, Logical-Mathematical Intelligence, Musical Intelligence, Visual-Spatial Intelligence, Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence, Intrapersonal Intelligence, Interpersonal Intelligence, Naturalist Intelligence, Existential Intelligence. Each one of human is composed by a different combination of brainpowers, and has their own strong and weak point in these brainpowers. So corresponding to this, people form their own cognitive style. This distinct combination of intelligence, personal living environment and education environment interact each other, and finally form each person’s unique personality traits and psychological characteristics. Thus, the different characteristics and interest of individual appear.Rising in the1980s, multiple intelligence theory has an extensive and positive influence on the current education in the United States and many western countries, and also has important significance in teaching concept and evaluation mechanisms. The multicultural education reform has important practical significance in teaching practice. So it is essential to dig out deeper resource in the theory of to guide the Chinese music education. Therefore, on the basis of multiple intelligence and combined with the discipline characteristic, the thesis focuses on the evaluation construction of primary school students music learning. Turning to primary school music teaching evaluation practice from the evaluation theory, the multiple intelligence theory provides a new perspective and method to evaluation of music teaching. It become very a urgent and meaningful subject to construct elementary music learning evaluation system.On the basis of in-depth study and analysis of multiple intelligence theory, the researcher integrated and extracted the applicative evaluation theory basis of primary school music learning. Explore the concept of multiple intelligences of primary school music learning evaluation. On the basis of the literature review, the first chapter described the significance of the research questions, ideas and methods. In the course of the study,the second chapter adopts the questionnaire survey method in a certain university-affiliated primary school, the researcher selects120students in grade four, five and six to join the investigation about present situation about music learning evaluation. Through analysis of collected data according to chi-square test method, the author’s findings about some changes and problems existing in the present evaluation system is as following:(1) The main body of primary school music learning evaluation is unitary.(2)The schedule of primary school music learning evaluation is rigid and inflexible and too much emphasis on summative evaluation, the attention to process evaluation is not enough.(3) Content of primary school students’music learning evaluation began to present the diversity characteristics.(4)The process of primary school student’s music learning tends to normalize.(5) Primary school students’ music learning evaluation lacks of timelineness.(6) The standard of primary school students’ music learning evaluation is insufficient in public transparency. The third chapter analyzes the basic concept of multiple intelligences perspective for primary students’ music learning evaluation. Explore the significance of the theory of multiple intelligences to the study of the music evaluation.In a view of changes and problems of primary school students’music learning evaluation, the author combing with the individual teacher’s interview transcription, tries to construct scientific and reasonable system for primary students’ music learning evaluation from the following six aspects:the evaluation main body’s diversification, the evaluation content’s diversification, multidimensional of evaluation standard, reinforce of timeliness, the normalization of evaluation in the fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter, the researcher put forward the corresponding suggestions and feasible measures to the difficulties and problems in the process of construction.This study designed under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences tries to understand the primary music learning evaluation of the present situation from the point of view of the theory of multiple intelligences. The study of multiple evaluation for primary school students’music learning promotes students’ music learning anditems intelligent Comprehensive development.The author hopes that the research can effectively promote the primary school students’music learning evaluation system, providing beneficial reference for the improving of evaluation system, and help to promote the reform of primary school students’music learning evaluation further.
