Concept of scientific development put forward in the21st century made the appreciation education more important during the modern society. Education is a subject which attaches importance to individual development. It pays attention to person and every student is expected to be involved. Education should take the value of people oriented as its core discipline, since its direct object is person in growing process. Appreciation education plays a decisive role in guiding students form the individual cognition and positive emotion judgment.According to Ericsson’s theory of personality development, pupils at ages7to12years old usually face the conflict of diligence to low self esteem. This period is absolutely the foremost stage to the formation of self concept and self consciousness. It exerts positive influence for students to get sense of confidence and diligence at this stage, since it will be helpful to the shaping of character and personality cultivation.Primary Chinese is undoubtedly the unique subject in cultivating the natural close relationship between each individual and mother tongue, what’s more, Primary Chinese shows incomparable superiority and particularity in guiding students to develop healthy aesthetic interest and cultivate noble values. Implementation of appreciation education in the primary school Chinese teaching reflects the request of New Curriculum Standard and responds the demand of era. Only in this way, teachers will unearth each child’s potential, and make it to its maximization. At the same time, students know themselves more clearly, innovate oneself deeply and thereby fulfill themselves and get their achievements.This article mainly is divided into five parts:the introduction part reviews the recognition of education history, summarized the research recognition of literature education, elaborated the significance of this article and introduced the research methods; The second part defines the concept of appreciation education and the connotation, this part also presents the theoretical foundation of appreciation education; The third part analyzes the relationship between appreciation education and Primary Chinese teaching, and expound on the necessity, particularity and importance of the implementation of appreciation education in primary school Chinese teaching.The fourth part discourses the different conditions of appreciation implementation at primary native language class in China and USA through the questionnaire survey and interviews, compares the current barriers they encountered analyze the reasons. This part points out that the differences in culture and traditions in China and the United States led to some difficulities and resistance during the process of carrying out appreciation education, objective factors existed in this realistic society made teacher cannot practice appreciation education. Furthermore, appreciation education can’t counterbalance the influence of family education’s mistakes.Part five tries to explore on how to implement appreciation education at primary Chinese class. In order to give corresponding practical advices to reach a better appreciation education execution, this part makes a deep discussion on appreciation education, and come up with the problems with should be paid attention to during the process of implementation of appreciation education.This part embodies the innovation of the article, it indicates that teachers should adjust their states of minds, look at all the students from diversiform perspective and create a variety of situations to develop students’ potential. In addition, this part put forward joint measures for teachers on how to utilize the social resource broaden curriculum and realize the union of family and school education.
