Research Of Tourism Gaze In Huizhou Ancient Villages

Tourism gaze including tourist gaze and host gaze is a complex system ofmany factors which interact a lot. The study analyzes the academic trends ofboth foreign and China’s tourism gaze research and gets a summarized studyon the hot topics.Ancient villages are the symbol of Huizhou culture and the core oftourism gaze in the culture tourism of Huizhou ancient village.Hongcun, Xidiand Nanping of Yixian are taken as examples for this case.Questionnairesurvey, participant observation and interviewing methods are used to gatherinformations.It is SPSS used to dispose the dates with credibility analysis of thedata, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, analysis of variance.The textsand photographs on tourism website are also collected for analysis using ROSTWordParser and content analysis method.This research discusses theconstruction process of tourism gaze on cultural tourism in Huizhou ancientvillage, the point that the tourists in the tourism process focus on and the effectof tourist gaze to the host society.It also gives the process of local residentsgazing of tourists and the role of gaze. The pattern of tourist gaze,host gaze andeven the tourism gaze are built.The role of tourist gaze and host gaze on therich culture of Huizhou are discussed. How to protect Huizhou culture in theprocess of tourism is being thought.
