Folklore Perspective Cultural Landscape Of Ancient Towns And Villages Overall Protection And Development Of Research

The protection and development of the ancient towns and villages in the past is focused on the protection of material entities building in the ancient villages and towns, but the neglected of the natural environment of the ancient villages and towns and historical background, as well as the living folk production, life and non-material culture of these ancient towns. From the perspective of Folklore, this article draws on the "cultural landscape" of the geography, tourism and other related disciplines. Using the historical and cultural towns and villages of Shanxi Province as the object, this article explores the protection and development of the culture landscape of ancient towns and villages in the perspective of Folklore overall protection and development.The whole text is divided into six parts, the first chapter is an introduction which introduces the purpose of this topic, the significance, the research methodology, and the related conception of "landscape" and "cultural landscape". The chapter two to chapter five of this article is the main text, Second chapter analyzes the mechanism of the "cultural landscape" in the Perspective of Folklore and folk divide the cultural landscape into the traditional physical substance class cultural landscape, the daily production and daily life class cultural landscape,"cultural landscape" are three types of space-time performances of the intangible cultural landscape, and discusses the types of ancient towns and villages of Shanxi under the background of the folk culture landscape. Chapter three, takes Youyu county, Youwei town which in the north of Shanxi, as an example. Explores the multiculturalism of ethnic folk, military, economic and historical development of the Youwei town, and analyses the substantive material cultural landscape protection and developing strategies. Chapter four, takes Wanrong County, YanJing Village which in the southern of Shanxi as an example, analyses the status and role of the daily production, daily life cultural landscape in the ancient village, and discusses how to influence and develop the ancient villages and towns. Chapter five,which gives an example about Gaoping, this chapter introduces the space environment and material element, as well as the basic content and cultural function of "the street pergon" which also belongs to the intangible cultural heritage,and it analyzes the function of the intangible cultural landscape in the ancient town tourism development. The sixth chapter is the conclusion on the basis of the study cases, summarizes the basic types of cultural landscape of ancient villages and towns in Shanxi Province, and the significance of the villages and towns’protection and development which is led by the different types of cultural landscape.This article use the geography,the study of landscape,the tourism and other related disciplines for reference,and emphasizes on the mechanism and types of the cultural landscape in the ancient villages and towns under the perspective of Folklore. It is based on the field research and the literature, takes Youwei town in the northern Shanxi Yanjing village in the southern Shanxi, and Lianghu village in the southeastern an examples,trys to analyze the ancient villages and towns’protection and development which is led by different kinds of cultural landscape,in order to explore new ideas about the development and the protection of them.
