With the increasingly wide application of computer network and multimedia technology,CSCL has gained serious attention of relevant theory and practice experts domestic and overseas.The future society is a pluralistic society of interdependence, which requires every citizen to beequipped with information sensitivity and teamwork spirit. To cultivate talented individualssuitable for the information age, it is necessary to establish educational concept matching theinformation society, make full use of advanced scientific and technological methods, andactively explore new educational model. The fundamental objective of the new curriculumreform is the development of individuals. In today’s world of quality-oriented education,Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) provides us with an effective theoreticalreference of how to meet each student’s learning needs, how to improve students’ learningeffectiveness and skill application, as well as how to promote students’ non-cognitive qualitydevelopment. It has incomparable advantages than traditional collaborative learning in terms ofenhancing students’ ability in all aspects and improving teaching effectiveness. It has become ahot issue in the field of educational technology how to make full use of multimedia technologyand computer network technology to better carry out learning activities, upgrading the traditionalcollaborative modes and exploring network environment based Computer SupportedCollaborative Learning(referred to as CSCL) teaching mode. In the process of implantinginformation technology into education, study of information technology is playing an extremelyimportant role. So I chose “CSCL application of information technology in high school teaching”as my topic.This paper is divided into five chapters, with integrated research methods of literature,questionnaire, observation, education and so on. The first chapter introduces the background,significance and the status domestic and overseas of the research; Chapter two gives the roughdefinition and features of CSCL, overviews the information technology curriculum, anddiscusses the theoretical basis of the research; Chapter three concludes five key aspects inapplying CSCL and designs a teaching mode map based on the implementation of applyingCSCL, which is focusing on cultivating student’s capacity, reflecting the characteristics of ITdisciplines and obeying the principles of operability. Then we analyzed respectively the students,groups, works as well as teaching outcomes in CSCL classes and developed a evaluation table;In Chapter four, we experiment with teaching practical application cases and spread outevaluation table and questionnaires before and after the CSCL, whose data we statisticallyanalyzes in detail and figures out the research conclusions.The use of computer-supported collaborative learning model (CSCL) has effectivelyimproved the comprehensive development and quality of students, including study attitudes,methods, emotion, characteristics and many other aspects. It positively stimulates students’interest in learning and sets students free by no longer relying on their teachers and textbooks,but to make full use of the computer network resources and platforms, and to solve problemsthrough consultation and discussion among team members. It also enhances significantly thestudents’ achievement in learning, their operating skills, the sense of collaboration and teamwork.Thus, it is of great significance to promote students’ lifelong learning and sustainabledevelopment. Therefore, the use of CSCL learning model has optimized the classroom teachingof information technology.
