The realization of the novel teaching should include two aspects:one is interpreting thenovel text by the teacher,and having a dialogue with the text (including the author); the other isturning the interpretation of the novel content into teaching practice,and having a dialogue withthe students. If the first requirement are not fulfilled, then come to the second aspectsdirectly,namely,the dialogue with students in the classroom is the alienation of the text and thepseudo activity in the pursuit of excitement. Therefore,the interpretation of the depth and breadthof the novel by the teacher, decides on the wonderful degree of the novel text teaching. However,many problems exist in the current text interpretation about the novels in Chinese class, such asthe scabies in Ah Q’s head, is both odious and bemoan. At the same time, this also shows us thatthe ideal beauty in Chinese curriculum concept and real distress in teaching practice.This paper, rooted in the reality of text interpretation in novel teaching and based on theinherent law of novel itself, has studied from the following aspects:The first part of this paper is the current condition of the interpretation of the text in novelteaching,which points out the existing problems in text interpretation during the novel teaching:the utilitarian of text interpretation; mode of text interpretation; standardization of textinterpretation. The first part also expounds the significance of text interpretation in novelteaching: inevitable requirement of Chinese curriculum standards; an important prerequisite fornovel teaching design; the guidance basis of students reading the novel.The second part is the interpretation of the character images in novels teaching. Startingwith the relationship between characters, understanding the main characters; from the angle ofdepiction, revealing the features of character; from the point of view of events, grasping theperson character; from the perspective of the typical environment, examining the significance ofcharacters.The third part is the blank structural interpretation of text in the novel teaching, whichincludes the observation of blank structure theory and the multidimensional interpretation ofblank structure.The fourth part is the interpretation of the narrative way of the text in novel teaching, which includes interpretation of observational narrative way, interpretation of participant narrative wayand interpretation of the whole intellectual narrative way.
