For the unique local factors of geographical environment, customs and culture and economic level, Eastern Guangdong area high school biology teaching presents its unique characteristics.This study research33representative senior high schools including the high school department of the complete secondary school in eastern Guangdong Province, the Investigation include the following aspects:teaching management, teaching support, teaching process, teaching effectiveness etc. Specifically, the survey indicators are as the follows:Teaching Ideas, Lesson Plans; Teaching Staff, Teaching and Learning conditions; Teaching Practices, Teaching and Research, Teaching Evaluation, Teaching Resources; Curriculum Standards, Academic Standards, The Full Developmen.tThe conclusione are as follows:the teaching philosophy of Guangdong Province area high school biology teaching are behind, and attach importance to biological teaching; lack of teaching of biology supporting hardware facilities, lack of teaching resources; comprehensive quality of teachers to be to further improve the main problem. Solve these problems, I propose the following:to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in inter-school and inter-city schools; innovation and exploration of the development of local biology curriculum resources; promote local style characteristics and development of student potential; to broaden the sources of funding for education, and implementation of financial investment in education responsibility; to strengthen teacher education work.
