American University Moral Education Research And Enlightenment

The enrichment and development of moral education in Colleges and universities in China, is not only the inevitable trend of social development, the only way which must be passed universal moral quality, and the influence on the whole national cohesion, centripetal force will have an inestimable. It is an important way to improve the effectiveness of university moral education in our country, is an important means to improve the students’ moral quality, is the only way which must be passed of moral education methods in China in line with international standards. However our country university moral education method in the course of development, the role of moral education did not achieve the desired effect, no breakthrough and innovation of moral education method. Aiming at this problem, this paper studies the American college moral education method, historical development status, characteristics, combined with the actual situation and problems I had specific, necessity of advanced methods of moral education are discussed, put forward to solve the problem of moral education methods in China strategy, change the previous indoctrination in education, advocate the recessive education through classroom teaching, environment edification; promoting the rich social practice activities, to enhance the effectiveness of moral education; respect for the dominant position of the students, the moral education more effective, develop the students’ ability to solve moral problems; advocate building a powerful advisory system, let the psychological problems of students moral level is obtained by solving the most scientific assisted by professionals. The method has theoretical and practical significance for the innovation of our university moral education method.
