As an important part of the cultivation of the nation’s high-level talents, the various circles pay more attention to the education of Master of Social Work. But the reality of the late beginning, lack of running experience and quality of education needing to be improved, affects the talent training of Master of Social Work. How to build assurance institutions to improve the quality of education Master of Social Work is also an urgent problem to solve, during the period of developing the professional education.This study starting from two concepts which are the Master of Social Work and the Institutions of Education Quality Assurance, with the systems theory and function theory as the theoretical guide, using the literature and comparison as the research methods, analyze the status and features of full-time MSW between Hong Kong Chinese University and Shanghai E University. And it makes a case comparison of the external the education quality assurance institutions that are practical supervisor institution and vocational qualification certification institution, and the internal education quality assurance institutions that are enrollment institution, speciality provision, curriculum, guarantee of teachers’level. The features of external the education quality assurance institutions of Chinese University of Hong Kong is that institutionalized and professional internship supervision institution; Social Work Education Registered social worker institution tightly integrated with Social Work Education. The features of internal the education quality assurance institutions of Chinese University of Hong Kong is that high level of faculty; independent and closely undergraduate-master-convergence speciality provision; curriculum institution with clear objectives and localized supporting curriculum materials; the "lenient" enrollment institution adapting popularization of higher education. In contrast, the external education quality assurance institutions are not perfect:practical supervisor institution lacks of uniform professional standards and inadequate legal protection; vocational qualification certification institution has vaguely defined eligibility and is not closely linked with Social Work Education. The main problems of the internal education quality assurance institutions are: levels of the professional teachers need to be improved; speciality provision is a lack of independence, undergraduate and master’s convergence is not close; curriculum goals is slightly general, career tendency is weak, localization materials are lack; the enrollment institution has some unreasonable additional conditionsThis study suggests that, to improve the quality of education Master of Social Work in mainland, is to build a series of quality assurance institutions from inside and outside universities.Within universities, to construct high-level faculty; keep professional settings independent and undergraduate and master’s convergence; Clear curriculum goals and amendment localized materials; modest widen certain additional conditions during admission. Externally, to strengthen the qualification examination, to establish closely contact with the social work education and vocational qualification certification institution.
