With the rapid development of the sciences and technologies, the mode of production and people’s life style of modern society are undergoing profound changes, the human beings’health are also facing the coming challenge. In1994, the World Health Organization proposed7tasks which are built on the fact that sport is the foundation of the healthy lifestyle, in the International conference of HPPA, which emphasizes that although the individuals and families should bear the primary responsibilities of individual health, the government must provide the environment of social sports for the public, and make the individuals form and insist a healthy sport lifestyle.Recent years, as the national demand of improving the quality of talent cultivation increases, so do the burdens of working and life of college teachers, who hump over their desk for all the time, devote themselves to the intense work of teaching and researching. In addition, most of the college teachers seldom take part in the physical exercises. Such that, the college teachers’health deteriorated with their age, the states of sub-health extensively showed in their health analysis tables."A 30years old man with the60years old body", has already presented in many teachers’documents of health, which impeded their daily work of teaching and researching, and directly affect their life qualities.Take the800teachers who come from12colleges or universities in Wuhan as research object, with the methods of literature review, visiting, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and analysis, this paper investigates and analyzes the college teachers’life pressure, sports attitudes, health consciousness, leisure time and sports life activities and so on. The results show that:(1) The health situations of college teachers in Wuhan are not optimistic. Especially, the health situations of teachers in the two age groups of36to45and46to55are worrying, the main factors that affect their health is the pressure of work, the rest schedule and the burden of family.(2) The ratio of sports population account for college teachers in Wuhan is only12.9%, which is much lower. The male teachers are more than female teachers among these sports population. The teachers in different age groups value different sports exercises, relatively speaking, the middle-age teachers pay more attention on sports exercises.(3) Walking and running is the primary sport program, secondly is ball sport. Different gender would choose different sport program:the male like take part in strongly resisted and intense program, while the female prefer to the program with small amount of motion and long duration.(4) The main sport exercise forms of college teacher in Wuhan:most of the teachers, about43.7%, exercise with friends or colleagues; next is the individual exercises, about36.9%; some participate in school sport activities, and some exercises with families. The chosen sport fields are mainly the school area and the free public play area.(5) The measure results of sports attitudes show that, about89%college teachers’sports attitudes greater than the average score45, which indicates the sport attitudes of college teachers in Wuhan are positive overall. It is inferred by R factor analysis that, the main factors affect college teachers’sports attitudes, are consist of sport affective experience, cognitive behavior and behavioral tendency. The cognitive behavior is the most important factor.(6) The pressure of work, leisure time and sport attitude are main factors which affect the sport lifestyle of college teachers in Wuhan, and the pressure of work is the most affecting factor.
