To realize the quality improvement and characteristics development in the secondary vocational school, at the same time, the curriculum reform has stepped from the development phase into the implementation phase, the problem that "students should learn something useful" has been basically solved by the textbook reform, and now the reform that "How to make students have interest and fun in study and learn effectively" has attracted a lot attention in the teaching field. In the current conditions of network age, knowledge economy and information society, the demand for diversified talents calls for a diversified education, the objective existing of the student differences also calls for different educational strategies to help them to realize the real "learning".In this century, not only the humanistic care but also the educational equality issues have attracted the special attentions, therefore, to improve the quality of the vocational students quality is also related to the improvement of the entire national quality; to help them improve the learning quality, complete their studies successfully, and learn how to live and work, is the focus of social concern. Served as knowledge spread, education is also the platform of the emotional communication, exchange of ideas and life dialogue. With respect to the students born in1990’s, the personalized, individual and flexible study style becomes the inevitable trend. School education on how to implement effective teaching strategy according to their different development needs seems very urgent and necessary, which constitute the starting point of this paper. The research process is done from the following aspects.First of all, starting from the specific of the different development needs of vocational students, by means of the questionnaire survey, interview and classroom observation etc., analyze the students’different needs on intelligence, motivation, behavior and explore the reasons.Secondly, with respect to the current teaching strategy and problems in vocational schools, by means of questionnaire survey and interviews with teachers, reveals the reasons deeply.Again, design the teaching goal, use different teaching method and give different and reasonable evaluation based on the different development needs of the vocational students. To try to design the teaching strategy according to the students’ different development needs, is the core part of this paper.Finally, the practice and effect of teaching strategy is the strong backing of the theoretical study.In Appendix3of this article, the teaching practice according to the research, and the verification in practice as well as the reflection and correction of teaching strategy will be presented.This paper attempts to explore the different development needs and teaching strategies for the vocational students, so as to improve the students’ individual ability, apply the difference theory to the occupation education, truly concern the development of each student so that students can develop better, provide some reference for the vocational-school classroom teaching, and also expect that the teachers in vocational school could pay enough attention to the different development needs of the students.
