At present, China is in a period of new industrialization, we need to improve the core competitiveness of Chinese enterprises and the country’s comprehensive national strength. Economic development needs talents, but nowadays China’s enterprises are facing the shortage of talents, especially the shortage of high-tech talent. Due to the restrictions on the level of economic development and the influence of people’s ideas and concepts, vocational education does not get people’s attention. Thus the number of technical talents is still far from reaching the needs of national developments, and these have severely influenced China’s economic development and the transformation and upgrading of industries. This article plans to study school-enterprise cooperation model of higher vocational education, so as to provide some suggestions for the development of our country’s higher vocational education. Higher vocational and technical education is a place where a large number of high-tech talents are cultivated. We should energetically develop vocational education and cultivate the specialized skills. This meets demand of the strategy of making China stronger and "prosper the country by science and education". This paper studies the school-enterprise cooperation of higher vocational education from the view of neoinstitutional economics, it can enrich the theoretical framework of school-enterprise cooperation and provide theoretical support for the healthy development of school-enterprise cooperation. So it can improve the quality of vocational education and strengthen the important position of vocational education in our country’s education system. From a practical sense, this study helps to improve the quality of talents cultivation for higher vocational and deepen the reform of higher vocational education. The cooperation between school and enterprise can provide more and better talents for business and society and let the personnel training of vocational institutions more in line with market rules. We can improve the quality of the talents in the cooperation and improve enterprise technological innovation ability.This article uses the following research framework; the specific contents are as follows:Chapter1:Introduction section introduces the research background and significance of this thesis and the overseas and domestic research status. Chapter2:This section primarily gives the connotation of higher vocational education and school-enterprise cooperation.Chapter3:This chapter analyses the major pattern of domestic school-enterprise cooperation and the problem of them. Then we try to find the reason from the point of neoinstitutional economics.Chapter4:In this section, we give some suggestions for the improvement of school-enterprise cooperation.The innovation of article:First, through studying the school-enterprise cooperation of higher vocational education based on view of neoinstitutional economics, we get research conclusions. School and business’s definition of property rights is a good prerequisite for cooperation, then we should adopt various means to reduce the transaction costs of cooperation. School-enterprise cooperation is not a matter for schools and businesses, and of course, governments also have a duty. Our government should support school-enterprise cooperation by the financial and legal system. Second, at present nobody studies school-enterprise cooperation from the view of neoinstitutional economics, so this article makes such an attempt.
