At present, the mass media to the greatest extent beyond the limitations of time and space,collect information from around the world, is becoming more and more powerful functionof cultural transmission, communication, sharing, integration, gradually become the mainmeans of modern culture. The construction of university campus culture construction andthe socialist core value system is inseparable from the campus communication systemsupport, the mass media has played an important role in University, bring importantinfluence, and give a new development mode of higher education at the same time, theevolution of the mass media in the wide range and its development is still in a slow processcontinuous exploration, and the matching results to the rapid development of highereducation and cultural diversity also does not see more, this has brought serious challengesto the construction of campus culture, to carry out effective directly influences and restrictsthe development of higher education and campus culture construction. Therefore, researchon the construction of college campus culture from the perspective of mass media hasimportant theoretical and practical value. In the new situation, how to present situation ofthe construction of campus culture and mass media from the perspective of the analysis ofadvantages and disadvantages of the existing campus culture, and thus puts forwardstrategies and practice of university campus culture construction from the perspective ofmass media is the main research content and purpose.The construction and development of campus culture is based on Marx’s culture theory as aguide, the core position and sticking to Marx’s ideology in the construction of campusculture. This paper based on the study of Marx’s cultural theory, adopts the questionnaireinvestigation method, the actual situation of campus culture construction from theperspective of the mass media, and the mass media in the campus culture and the use ofcollege students in the campus of the mass media contact condition, the result of thequestionnaire survey data and analyze SWOT, analysis of the advantages of the currentcampus culture construction and the challenges and opportunities.Secondly, this paper presents new characteristics in the university campus cultureconstruction under the new situation to mass media orientation, attraction and cohesion onthe basis of previous research results, to improve the socialist advanced culture in highereducation status, to improve the socialist advanced culture on campus through the massmedia radiation and influence, then push the Marx doctrine in China, modernization andpopularization. Combined with the methods of social investigation, prospective, proposed the construction of university campus culture from the perspective of mass media shouldbe moving in the direction of the development requirements of the times, and change thecurrent unreasonable education development pattern, in order to meet the requirements ofthe times. This is the need of university campus culture construction under the newsituation, and it is also the objective requirement of the development of higher education.Finally, through the combination of theory and practice, in the construction of the campusculture development in the future, to improve the theoretical and technical innovation ofcampus culture construction, culture and education of media literacy and legal and moralquality of teachers and students, and actively create a healthy and upward campus youthculture. To further improve the campus communication system, prominent socialistadvanced culture in the campus of the radiation force and influence. Provide practicalguidance for the innovation of new ideas for the construction of campus culture from theperspective of mass media.
