Personal knowledge is the knowledge all that individuals possessed.It includes whatever you know and whatever you belive. Whether it is theoretical or practical, is explicit or tacit, is declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge, from direct experience or from indirect experience. Teacher’s personal knowledge is the teachers’ knowledge of education and teaching. Teacher’s personal knowledge are formed by these ways:transforming public knowledge to make it personalize,reflecting and refining experience(their own experience and the experience of others),putting their point of view into practice. Teacher’s personal knowledge is extremely complex.This paper aims to explore the knowledge that closely related with education.Teacher’s personal knowledge is the base of teacher’s teaching and teacher’s professional development.However,it has not been paid enough attention by teachers,teacher trainers and education researchers.Based on the research of teacher’s personal knowledge theories,this study invited a high school Chinese teacher as the research object,via the method of narrative inquiry. It took a long time to carefully observe and understand the teacher.At the same time,this study describes teacher’s teaching life and daily life really and objectively,to unveil the teacher’s personal knowledge and influence factors,inspire the view to teachers to cognize and develop their knowledge structure.The main findings of this research are as following:Firstly,teacher’s personal knowledge includes abundant contents.This study made a analyze and discussion on ontological knowledge,conditional knowledge and cultural knowledge.Specifically,the idea of ontological knowledge includes teachers’ understanding of the Chinese, teachers’understanding of the content of the Chinese, teachers’understanding of the new curriculum reform. It is the most complex part of the teacher’s knowledge structure.As for conditional knowledge,this study mainly explains four aspects:educational beliefs,awareness of the students, Understanding the role of teacher, Understanding of the teaching process. Cultural knowledge embodied in the Buddhist.Secondly, Influence factors of teacher’s personal knowledge is extremely complex.In this paper,the author try to describe it from both inside and outside.Internal factors mainly include Learning experience, teaching experience, life experience, personality and professional development initiative. External factors mainly related to two aspects:working and living environment, various factors within the school.The last,through the in-depth research,we found that the knowledge structure of the research obsject exists three problems. The knowledge structure is unreasonable. The knowledge update speed is slow. Teachers are lack of in-depth reflection on personal knowledge.In short,this study dig personal knowledge by describing teaching and life story of miss Li. Teachers’ personal knowledge plays an important role in the professional development of teachers.It also takes an important part in teaching.Recognizing their own knowledge structure will be good for teacher’s future development.
