Teaching basic skills is an important part of comprehensive quality for normalcollege students. To make the minority students with higher levels of teaching basicskills is an important training goal of normal universities in national regions. Basedon the teaching practice of science education, to exploration the training mode ofminority students’ teaching basic skills has important significance in both of theinnovative of bilingual education model and improvement of quality in trainingbilingual teachers.This study selected76minorities’ normal students who are from grade2008and2009of a higher normal university chemistry education specialty in Xinjiang as thestudy target. The preliminary investigation of basic teaching skills of these studentswas performed based on the method of related literature research, classroomobservation, questionnaire survey and interview. Problems found as follow: lowerspeaking level, stylized import mean, less enlightening of course question asking,less rationality of blackboard-writing design, lack summary and feedback of finishcontent. To solve these problems, based on Bandura’s social learning theory,combination of knowledge and action concept of Wang Yangming, interpersonalcommunication theory of Johari, and “Jiaoxuezuoheyi” of Tao Xingzhi, we putforward an integration training model of minority normal students basic teachingskills (that is under the guidance of teachers let students experience the normalprobationary, practice, practice activities, so that they can introduce, questioning,write and end properly). At this point, we have carried out researches of teachingpractice mode for two years.Through the implementation of integrated training mode, normal students’teaching skill are gradually raised, such as: better pronunciation in oral language andmore clear pronunciation rate from43.4%to89.5%; introductions were morecreative, students interested raised from46.1%to88.2%; the increased rate was from50.0%to89.5%for better combination between teaching aims and teaching content;blackboard-writing was more clear and methodical, the rate was from42.1%to90.8%; End Content strengthen the students’ learning methods and learning outcomesand the rate was increased from18.4%to88.2%. To sum up, the normal studentshave used their teaching skills in internship effectively. At the same time, ourcurrently used for teaching basic skills training model integration is approved.Based on the above empirical research, we concluded that: the training mode ofbasic teaching skills has its own distinct characteristics and advantages,and has asignificant practical effect,and also coincident with Universities’ actual conditions. Itis feasible.
