Under the profound impact of domestic badminton development, more and more groups ofpeople favor badminton, and enjoy the fun as participants to acquire fitness and improve thecompetitive level. Vice versa, it attracts more and more fans to participate in badminton.According to this, the head coach of national badminton team Li Yongbo breaks the regular gamemode and introduces the three-on-three mode which is adopted in the national team training tothe amateur game. This is a new play mode measured by time, and at the end of the first andsecond half match, the players who get more scores will be the winner. The new mode is called“Li Yongbo Cup” three-on-three amateur badminton tournament. The new mode shortens thetime of highly-intensive game, so players can quickly enter the competition state and play therole to make the game more exciting and interesting. This game mode is a new challenge forthree-on-three badminton athletes. On one hand, it helps to improve the players’ skills. On theother hand, it also helps to promote the three-on-three game mode all around the country. This thesis takes the three-on-three techniques and tactics of “Li Yongbo Cup” AmateurBadminton Tournament as the main research content, and takes the amateur athletes whoparticipate in the game as the main object of study. On the basis of extensive reading of literature,it uses “expert interview” and “video observation” methods to make statistical collection andanalyze the techniques and tactics skills of amateur athletes and high-level badminton game inthree-on-three game pattern. The results show that the three-on-three match of the amateur badminton players isconducted in the condition of intense confrontation, and it makes further requirement on athletes’abilities on positive scoring and defense. It requires players to equip with not onlycomprehensive offensive skills, skilled tandem technology, a high level of physical condition andchanging individual offensive tactics etc, but also tacit understanding between the players andthe sense of teamwork. In terms of the serve skills, it mainly requires the net ball with backhand. The use of technology up to the return of serve is flapping and pushing the ball. Amateur playersin the game scoring the three-on-three principal means frontcourt the culling, flat midfield andpumping vigorously smash. The front, back, midfielder failures are more and the frontcourtserving, receiving and proactive culling can lead to more mistakes. The change of usingmidfielder technology is relatively few, and the tactical intentions and continuous batting convergence are inadequate. The passive back of the ball in the back field is not high in quality. The amateur players’ serving and returning tactics, three people playing a tactical attack, frontand back blocking tactics and the use of offensive tactics in the region, are triangle-shaped,which can adjust the station rotary according to the needs to achieve the basic tactical purposes. It is suggested that the amateur players strengthen technical training and take part in thethree-on-three games to accumulate the competition experience and develop good tacticalawareness. All of this can achieve the purpose of entertainment and fitness and improve thecompetitive level.
