| Men’s long jump has always been a popular track and field event among coaches and researchers. Based on a large amount of literature, the result of the research shows that some of the gaps of index between our excellent athletes and foreign elites are narrowing, several excellent athletes even exceed foreign athletes in some parameters. In the consulted literature and related research reports, up to now, definitions of some of the concepts still lack a unified standard and vary in the research results. There are many kinesiology studies on long jump technique, however, studies related to high-level athletes’training are much less. What is certain is that regardless of the differences in direction and depth of the studies, some of the research results have to some extent offered some references to the development of long jump. Through a research of the technique and training process of Su Xiongfeng, an excellent long jumper in China, this study tries to further explore and promote the training mode of "Combination of Sports with Education" in China’s colleges and universities. The lengths of the last two steps of Su Xiongfeng’s run-up change "from long to short" and there is an obvious deceleration when steps onto the board. In the kinematic parameters of the last two steps of run-up, the moving speed of centre of gravity is slower than the step length speed with the "two-step back" technique, and the movement of centre of gravity will be delayed. Moreover, viewed from the training process, Su has good training index, but he tends to be reserved during the game. The most outstanding feature is that when it comes to the game, his step length will shorten while stride frequency increase, and the pace of game is out of touch with that of training. Su is a typical speedy athlete whose most outstanding characteristic is fast stride frequency. While viewed from the technique feedbacks at the moment when he takes off, Su Xiongfeng needs to strengthen the capacity of pedal and stretch as well as psychological quality.Su Xiongfeng is a successful paradigm of the mode of "Combination of Sports with Education" in China’s colleges and universities. From the perspective of sport technique feedbacks, timely and scientific monitoring means and positive feedback effect have provided important technical support for the improvement of sport technique. From the perspective of training process, the coaches and scientific researchers have a clear division of responsibilities and tacit cooperation. The coaches’training concepts and innovative training methods are both positive. A systematic training theory of an excellent college athlete is not common seen, therefore, Su Xiongfeng’s success is worth learning. |
