An Analysis Of Peasant Workers’ Vocational Training Under The Perspective Of Education Welfare

Since the reform and opening up quickened industrialization and urbanization, theproblem of peasant worker has become one of the important topics in the new era ofsocial development with the increasing number of peasant workers. Although peasantworkers play important roles in city, they still stay at the bottom of society. Most of theirjobs belong to the labor industry which are simple but hard, such as the constructionindustry, manufacturing industry, catering industry and so on. In the competitive labormarket, peasant workers are in a weak position and their own limited personal ability ishindering them move upward.This article certain the significance of vocational training for peasant workers fromthe perspective of education welfare at first.Then, the writer analyze the current situation,problems and intention of offering free occupation trainings for peasant workers bygovernment, enterprises and NGO. The fourth chapter represents the intention and theinfluence factors of participating in vocational training. By the investigation，we knowmore about the situation and problems of demand and supply in vocational training forpeasant workers: training provided by government staying at the period before working,free training provided by enterprises adapted to the job, NGO’s function is not fullyrepresented and peasant workers’ low willingness to participate.Based on the problems of process of vocational training for peasant workers as wellas combining the government guidance, enterprise and NGO’s supply desire with peasantworkers’ intention to participate in training, the author points out that if we want to do agood job in vocational training and build the education welfare system for peasant workers,we should be change peasant workers’ potential demand into actual demand, outstandinggovernment-enterprise cooperation and inspiring NGO and the supply of enterprise.
