Modern dance is a subfield of ballroom dance, which originatedfromInternational Standard Dancing. Modern dance has various dancing types andstyles with flexible forms of motion, which suits well the exercising needs of thecommon people and widely accepted.Modern dance is easy to learn and convenient to adjust the difficulty. Moderndance also has low exercise intensity. All these features make modern dance the mostsuitable exercise for middle-aged and elderly people. Modern dance is able toimprove health level, for example, body features, cardio function, immune system,which is approved by many foreign research institutions。This theme will useexperimental data analysis, Literature documents, interviews and comparison, basedresearches for30middle-aged and elderly people from Dwoman GYM club whonever participate modern dance. We will choose30middle-aged and elderly peopleas research subject and record their body features and psychological data before andafter they take modern dance exercise. By data analysis, we focus on how moderndance exercise improvesbody shape, cardiovascular function, blood lipids, cervicalvertebra, bone, deportment and psychological aspects of changes. The main theme isto provide References for the middle aged and elder people on how to choose ahealthy exercise.Modern dance exercise impact on middle-aged and elderly people in Wuhan,conclusion made by data analysis as below;(1) Modern dance exercise can effectively lose weight for the fat, balancing theratio of fat in body. Thin people will gain weight and look stronger that they used tobe.In conclusion, modern dance can generate more muscle and reduce fat effectively.Modern dancer can own better and more appropriate body elements.(2) Middle-aged and elderly people who frequently take modern dance practicewill increase both white and red blood cells amounts, resting heart rate decrease andhaematoblast amount and volume both increase.(3) Many modern dance motions, like Abdomen open shoulder, chest rise, twistand respiratory system on the human body will put forward higher requirements,Inspiratory when can let the lungs expand, let as much as possible to obtain the fullexpansion of alveolar. Participate in the modern dance exercise test in the elderly inthe oxygen transport capacity of the organism, the immune and defense functionshave different degrees of improvement., (4) Middle-aged and elderly people who frequently take modern dance practicewill increase both white and red blood cells amounts, which can take more oxygenand make immune system work better.(5) Osteoporosis is a very common phenomenon beyond the elder people, whichcauses cataclasis easily.
