Strengthening thebelief education of socialism with Chinese characteristics of contemporary college studentscan cultivate their “three self-confidence” and be advantageous to the construction of socialistmodernization. But with the deepening of the reform and opening up, the constantdevelopment of market economy, China is gradually into the trend of the world, some foreignideological trend continuously impact the China’s traditional culture, at the same time, Chinais in the transition period, and great changes have taken place in people’s moral concepts thevalues, these are required to strengthen the socialism with Chinese characteristics of collegestudents belief education.At present, because of China’s socialist market economic system imperfect, variety ofsocial issues, and the rising of social thoughts, the colleges appear lighter weight material inthe spirit of faith, in front of a light weight long-term phenomena.Traditional beliefs ofeducation from content to regard forms, methods and means have been unable to fully meetthe needs of students’ faith, and the requirements of today’s rapidly growing social, besides,complex educational environment influence the effect of faith education. Therefore, studyingsocialism with Chinese characteristics and beliefs of education, strengthening the belief insocialism with Chinese characteristics and college students has become an urgent and greattask of ideological and political education.In the course of this paper, on the basis of results of researching scholars, by means of exchanging with teachers and interviewing some students, we summarize the current belief insocialism with Chinese characteristics college education process deficiencies, and trying toanalyze the reasons from different angles.
