The main content of this study was to investigate the current situation and the existingproblems of network behavior among township primary school students in Anguo, and toanalyse the influencing factors. The purpose of this study was to understand the knowledge, attitude, the usage of network and the existing problems of rural pupils in Anguo, then toexplore the influencing factors and the causes of the problems. A mixed method researchdesign, using both quantitative and qualitative approaches, was emloyed to summarize theliterature on Pupils’ network behavior. Bandera’s social learning theory was used to make surethe elements determined by the network behavior. The contents of the questionnaire weredetermined through the proof of the guide teacher. The network behavior questionnaire wasfinished finally after the reliability analysis and validity analysis through trial test.Thisquestionnaire was applied to the research of pupils from a township primary school in AnguoCounty where the network behavior was used as the observation index to work out the totalscore and scores from three perspectives as well as the constituent ratios of each entry.SPSSstatistic software was applied for data analysis. The total score and scores from threeperspectives were described by mean±standard deviation and their percentages. The scores ofthe three perspectives, namely individual factor, behavioral factor and general condition andenvironmental factor, were conducted a single-factor analysis of linear correlation. Anothermultiple regression analysis was conducted to discuss the contributing factors where networkbehavior is the dependent variable while general data and environmental factors wereindependent factors.Research findings were as follows: the pupils were weak in theiracknowledge of the Internet; most of them hold positive attitude towards the Internet; morethan half of the pupils had contact with the Internet since their middle grade of primary school;the factors of individual, behavior and environment were correlative; compared with girls, boys spend more time on the Internet; with the increasing of their ages and network behaviors, their behaviors would be affected by their attitudes and their parents’ attitudes towards the Internet. Therefore, it was important to focus network education on the pupils and to have abetter understanding of their network behaviors. In addition, the positive influence of networkshould be used to guarantee a healthy network experience. As the focus group of networkeducation and healthy network behaviors, the pupils in middle grades should be paid enoughattention so as to achieve the interaction between the individual factors, behavioral factors andenvironmental factors. The important contributing factors included their ages, genders, theirattitudes and their parents’ attitudes towards the Internet.
