It is cleared in <Mathematics curriculum standard (Trial Version)> that:“Todifferentiate math education on students with different talents”. Math homework mustfocus on the sustainable development of the whole students, promotes thedevelopment of the students’ ability of knowledge application and helps the studentsmastering knowledge, expanding their thinking, and solving problems creatively.With high school students’ math homework as the breakthrough point, the writerconducted a research on the status quo of math homework of the High School students.And after analyzing and comparing the results by the means of controlled variable,this thesis offers an optimized design model for math homework. Aiming at letting thestudents accomplish the homework with an active attitude and a light heart, the paperhas explored a new way of homework, according with the new curriculum standard,the characteristic and the comprehensive qualities of Chinese students.By carrying out questionnaire surveys, case analysis and comparative study insome junior middle school in the city of Lanzhou, the paper has drawn a conclusionthat, there are several problems on the design of math homework and there arenegative reactions on the attitude towards it.(1) Students are lack of interest on the varieties of settling problems, hasn’tformed a habit of rethought independently and need to improve the ability ofconcluding and summarizing.(2) The students pay more attention on declarative knowledge, but not on theskills and methods in that.(3) Students desires new homework forms, however, they are not satisfied.At last, a conclusion has been made after surveying and analyzing reasons,conducting scientific and reasonable stratified comparative test:(1) The stratified design of the math homework helps the benign changes ofstudents’ attitude on it.(2) The stratified design of the math homework helps arousing the interest ofstudying math.(3) The stratified design of the math homework influences the effect of mathteaching directly. According to the characteristic of math and its content and a preliminaryexploration, a new and optimized mode of math homework has been summarized:1.Optional homework.2. Stratified homework.3. Self-tested homework.4.Research-oriented homework...
