This paper use literature and the Method of fieldwork, Research the evolution anddistribution of Chuanqing people、Religion、Marriage and funeral customs,thecultures of festivals and dress、 Relations with the other nationalities of thesurrounding,To know “chuan qing” nationality having the same or similar ethnicelements with neighboring minority and Han, having unique cultural characteristicstoo. Clarified they are not determined minority of the national title, Researched ontheir situation of recognition and presented views about the problem of “chuanqing” nationality’s national identity.The article is divided into five parts:The first part: preface. Introduced in the1950s to Chuan qing people for theinvestigation of ethnic identification and identified、re-investigate the identificationand authorization about ethnic composition of Chuan qing people in1980s、Thetransitional measures about the problem of Guizhou handling ethnic compositionbyhGuizhou.The second part: Introduction the origin and history of the Chuan qing peopleand since the Ming Dynasty distribution and Changing Cause、Distribution area androughly demographic situation now.Part III: Research Chuanqing people having which unique ethnic elementsfrom Chuan qing people’s religious beliefs, wedding customs, festival culture,clothing characteristics.Part IV: Analysis Chuanqing people’s relationships with neighboring ethnicgroups by compare Chuanqing people with Han, Yi, Miao, Buyi, Gelao, Bai ethnicmarket transactions, marriage, festivals coincidence, the difference of religion,marriage and funeral customs of different ethnic costumes differences.Part V: Conclusion.
