Community Sports And Harmonious Community Building: From The Perspective Of Community Social Capital

In twenty-first Century our party put forward the construction of socialistharmonious society as a major strategic task in the new period, in which turning thebasic unit of our social——communities construction into a harmonious communitiesis an important part of the project. At present the theory scholars put their thinking outof looking for the traditional path and method of constructing the socialist harmoniouscommunities. They believe that the rebuilding of social capital is a breakthrough ofthe solution to the current our communities imbalance and build harmoniouscommunities.This study is about community sports in the harmonious community from aview of community social capital.First, I survey data collection. I use the SPSS analysis to research on thecommunity social capital dimensions and divide it into six aspects. They are the localsocial network, community attachment, volunteerism, mutual trust, ecdemic socialcommunication, community public participation.Secondly，I also explore the influence on each parts and community socialcapital by gender, age, political affiliation, level of education and the per capitaincome of families by the method of analysis of variance.And I analysis the effects ofcommunity sports participation to the community social capital and each parts By theequation of linear regression. I found that the community sports can significantlyimprove the three aspects——residents of local social network, communityattachment and t mutual trust. But it has no influence in the other threeaspects——volunteerism, ecdemic social communication and community publicparticipation.Finally,I proposed the action of community sports to community social capitaland community social capital to the harmonious communities through thecombination of data analysis and theory.
