Such as "Qinghai Provincial Gamesbasketball competition","Chinese CBO basketball open","CUBA China UniversityBasketball Association Qinghai district competition","KFC national three youthbasketball" and so on, these events on national fitness activities in Xining area andactive amateur cultural life plays an important role in the role. How to make better useof Xining’s development of space and mass base, make the basketball tournament tothe promotion and development of fast is an important subject in the field of sportssociology urgent. In this study, expert interview, observation, inspection,development of the questionnaire, and mathematical statistics and analysis of Xiningbasketball games are analyzed by means of literature, the experience of success andidentifies constraints Xining city basketball tournament in the process ofdevelopment, the Xining basketball competitive level, in order to to providereference for the development of theory of Xining basketball tournament. Researchresults show that, due to the impact of economic, social and environmental factors,characteristics of Xining city populace basketball sports event showed unevendevelopment among regions; Xining city populace basketball sports event’sparticipation is composed of amateur basketball team dominated by men; the massbasketball tournament participants exercise motivation is mainly due to increasedpublic fitness leisure entertainment; and recreational activities, Xining city populacebasketball competition and organization form has a diversification trend; with theindustrialization development of Xining city basketball tournament of the trend, butbecause of people’s consumption concept is backward and the level of economicdevelopment restricted the development of events.
