Humanistic care is the idea that great importance to human is attached to, specifically, which pays much attention to the reality of human situation, respects human, seeks human’s freedom and liberation, thinks about the meaning of human and realizes human value. Human’s integrated development is the value of ideological and political education. Ideological and political education, including human spirit and human wisdom, shapes human soul and plays an important role in the construction of human’s spiritual world. Therefore, the goal of Humanistic care is consistent with ideological and political education.In intellectual economy age, human’s subject status is being highlighted increasingly so that humanistic care is especially required in human-centered harmonious society. So does the educational field. Humanistic education deadly demands humanistic care. As there are various ideological problems happening among undergraduate students, who are longing for humanistic care, and thus strengthening humanistic care in ideological and political education has the important theoretical and practical value. Humanistic care should be taken seriously, In theory, it can perfect the connotation of ideological and political theories, consolidate the theoretical foundation of ideological and political education and reflect the thought of Marxism’s Humanistic care. Meanwhile, in practice, it can provide the students powerful value-oriented thought and spiritual motivation, forge the quality of their modern personality, enhance the pertinence and effectiveness of ideological and political education, and promote the construction of harmonious campus.The core concept of the traditional ideological and political education is cultivating social demand’s talents, to some degree, which is shortage of humanism. The target of this kind of education is training tools, not free and comprehensive man. The absence of humanistic care can be shown in the following aspects:in the education content, Knowledge education is took too much seriously and emotion education is ignored; in the education method, single-pass intestinal perfusion is preferred to mutual communication. The reason why humanistic care is not paid much attention in the ideological and political education in university is that evaluation system of the ideological and political education seeks for utility and unified standard. Moreover, some low-quality ideological and political educators are ignorance of differences of education objects, affected by the negative influence of Chinese Traditional Culture and incapable of the ability of humanistic care.In recent years, humanistic care of ideological and political education received attention, but the research on its system construction is not much. Through the above analysis, this paper proposes a systematical construction for humanistic care of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. In order to improve the humanistic care in the status in the ideological and political education in university, the following sides should be done:to begin with, the notion of cultivating free and comprehensive man need to be established. Then the content of humanistic care in the ideological and political education should be enriched and the traditional education method will be transformed form principles, approaches and methods. The last not least, overall quality of ideological and political educators should be enhanced.
