Study On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Teaching Staff Of Logistics Management Specialty In National Backbone Higher Vocational Colleges

The logistics talent is one of the first twelve tight talents in China. An excellentteaching team in which there are full-time and part-time teachers is needed to developthe logistics talents in the higher vocational colleges. The ministry of education andthe ministry of finance released the notice to further promote the implementation ofthe project of national model higher vocational colleges in2010. In the notice, somenew requirements were put forward for the training of teaching staff.To make the teaching staff of logistics management specialty in nationalbackbone higher vocational colleges realize the new requirements, the article studiesthe status of the teaching staff of logistics management specialty of8nationalbackbone higher vocational colleges in which logistics management specialty wasdetermined as emphasis developing specialty by referring to questionnaire, literaturereviews and comparative studies. We find out the achievements: the professionalteachers are vast potential developing and have higher educational level; the part-timeteachers have higher professional title. The main problems are that the quantity of theprofessional teachers is insufficient and the rate of teachers who has multi-skill is low;the proportion of the part-time teachers is relatively low and the number of the classhour is less; the proportion of the teachers of specialized knowledge and technicalability is not high and the practical ability is weak. To solve the problems, the authorincreases the construction of the teaching staff of logistics management specialty innational backbone higher vocational colleges in the professional teachers’development project, the part-time teachers’ construction project and the cultureproject of the teachers of specialized knowledge and technical ability. After threeyears, a qualified teaching team that adapts to the development requirement ofmodern higher vocational education will be built to train the tight logistics talents andpromote the development of logistics industry and economy. This article tries to provide theoretical basis and route strategies for theconstruction of teaching staff of logistics management specialty in national backbonehigher vocational colleges and provide reference for the construction of teaching staffof other specialties to reach the general standards made by the ministry of educationand the ministry of finance.
