Higher vocational colleges as the main base for the social culture and the transmission of high-quality applied talents,bear an important responsibility and mission of the development of higher vocational education.Now,the part-time teachers undertake the most practical courses in Higher Vocational Colleges who are come from industry,business line,rich experienced experts,on the one hand they have no experience in school teaching,on the other hand,school managements pay not enough attention to part-time teachers.how about their teaching abilities,what the problems are,and how to solve these problems are related to the teaching quality of practical training courses,and the quality of personnel training.In this study,based on thirty-seven Higher Vocational Colleges in Yunnan Province,we selected six representative vocational colleges as the specific research object of the study.From the perspective of the students,this paper mainly studies the current situation of the part-time teachers' teaching ability in Higher Vocational Colleges in Yunnan Province,The correlation between the teaching ability of part-time teachers and the students' evaluation of part-time teachers' teaching ability.Conclusion of the study are as follows:first,overview of part-time teachers in Vocational and technical colleges have good teaching cognitive ability,but lack of the ability of knowing students learning characteristics.Second,part-time teachers can control the classroom teaching discipline and grasp the rhythm of classroom teaching,but in poor interaction with students.Third,the part-time teacher's class is full of vigor,the teacher's teaching style is more flexible,but the expression of a rational,logical ability should to further improve.Fourth,part-time teachers are less able to major difficulties in processing.Finally combined with questionnaire and interview results,this paper argues that promote part-time teachers' teaching ability is the key to part-time teachers internal personal ability and quality of ascension,especially depends on the part-time teachers'intrinsic motivation and intention,schools,industrial enterprises,government and education administrative department only have the effect of external security.
