The study investigated the math scholastic level of senior students in primary school,tried to relate the students’ class status and their academic achievement of math.During the research, the evaluation system of math academic achievement was built, including mathematical knowledge and skills and their attitude toward math etc. Meanwhile, their scholastic level was evaluated according to the primary school mathematics curriculum standards, and a number of factors that may affect the level of primary school mathematics scholastic were analyzed, such as class, grade, gender etc. Most of all,the relationship between class status and mathematics scholastic level was explored in depth. Students lived in a triple society composed by family,school and class, the social ecosphere affect their growth in all aspects. It was commonly believed that the class status of students was closely related to their scholastic level of math. In order to test the hypothesis, peer nomination method was employed with scholastic level questionnaire and test.Peer nomination method is a social measurement method proposed by J.L.Moreno, members of the class were divided into five groups according to the nomination, such as popular group, excluded group, ignored group,paradoxical group and the general group.The paradoxical group was deleted for the lack of member, the others were systematically analyzed. Through the static, we can come to the conclusions as follows:1. The class variable was significantly associated with mathematics scholastic level in fifth grade and sixth grade, while in fouth grade the effect was not significant. The attitude and study will of different grades depart significantly, the student of fifth grade behaved much better than others.2. The formal status of primary school classes and scholastic level was significantly related. the class committee members behaved much better than others. Between the informal status of primary school classes and math scholastic level there is a significant correlation.3. The gender variable was significantly associated with the formal class status of primary school students, girls are more likely to be class cadres compared with boys. The gender variable was significantly associated with the informal class status in every grade, girls are more popular and tend to be ignored, while boys are more vulnerable to be excluded.
