According to international tennis tournament characteristics and its grouptraining theory feature, oversea excellent professional player have experiencedscientific and periodical training. They have synthetically evaluated and judged theresults of skills and tactics in the tennis competition over the past years. The databasebased on target scores and adversaries’ competing ability has been built which canreduce tennis players’ competition risks by means of reasonable match arrangementand scientific training target. It allows players to experience the virtuous circle ofsport career including scientific training, synthetical evaluation and judgement andoutstanding accomplishment. In order to improve our competition tennis skills, toshorten the differences between the powerful tennis nation and us and to achieveoutstanding score in WAT, the statistics of WAT sporters’competition index andevaluation is necessary.In this study, literature, mathematical statistics method and synthetical indexmethod have been used. This study has creatively combined mathematical statisticsmethod and synthetical index method through the application of synthetical indexmethod caculating form into synthetical evaluation toward certain phenomenon. Insynthetical index method evaluation, the synthetical index can quantificationallyreflect the synthetical average changing range. The using of mathematical statisticsmethod theory has theoretical guidance meaning to tennis players’ competition skillsand strategies. According to the evaluation of WAT players’competition quality incompetition from2011to2012, the following conclusions can be drawed:1. At present,the study of professional tennis players’ competition skills and tacticsevaluation in international tournaments still remained at the emphasis on surface datasof competition spots to illustrate the contrast statistics and evaluation between players.In future, creative research method is leading. The application of the match index dataand dynamic change of WAT players’ different competition indicators in mathematicalstatistics table into systematical analysis of players’ skills and tactics effects can helpbuild the relative database. It can provide scientific service for gaining information ofplayers’ prediction of target scores and analysis of adversaries’ competition capability.2. To calculate and build WAT players’ composite index chart by the application ofsynthetical index method. To evaluate WAT players’ competition effects and quality:at first, the evaluation theory and method of sport training should be creative.Secondly, it can objectively reflect WAT players’ periodical competition performancewhich makes coach and player’s training more scientific and pertinent, what’s more, itcan help realize the synthetical evaluation of players’ quality in the whole yearcompetition. The study on WAT players’ competition quality evaluation is the researchdirection in the future.3. The application of mathematical statistics method into analysis; the effects ofWAT players’ competition tactics index, the research on the entire inside regular changing, individual characteristics and systematically analyse its developmenttendency. According to the synthetical index calculating method and formula, authorconducted the synthetical calculating of the top10WAT players: Wozniacki、Sharapova、Azarenka、Zvonareva、Na Li、Kvitova、Stosur、Schiavone、Clijsters、Bartoli in the four world tennis open matches from2011to2012. From2011to2012,the top10WAT players in the four world tennis open matches had303wonderfultennis matches. Every player’ s synthetical index is above4.5which illustrates that thetop10players perform in highest competition level and apply the perfect skills andtactics.4. By calculating WAT players’ competition index in the four world tennis openmatches at home and abroad and the application of competition index, authorpertinently and synthetically evaluates the tennis player’ s competition skills andtactics in order to build the synthetical index tendency chart of WAT players’competition index and find out the differences between the world excellent tennisplayer and our outstanding players. From the perspective of the appearance of thegame, it can be found that comparing with the world excellent players, our playershave lots of space to improve in competition status, the effects of the application ofcompetition skills and tactics, training methods, competition psychological status andphysical agility. In view of the top10players’ synthetical average competition index,our excellent player Lina’ s synthetical average competition index in the four worldtennis open matches reached the high point5.141leading the top10players. It provesthat Lina owns the ability to win the world champion.5. According to the top10players’ synthetical competition index tendency chartin the annual or periodical matches, it can help improve our WAT players’competitionskills and tactics through the consideration and suggestion in sport training. In recenttwo years’ four world tennis open matches, our players have achieved certain scores,renewed the world ranking and made a big full of the competition according to theirsynthetical competition index tendency. However, compared with other strong sportcountries, we are in the relative low level and have lots of aspects to improve. It’ snecessary that we should improve ourselves in groping forward.
