| In the21st century, with the high school education reform, secondary schoolteachers’ vocational ability becomes the key factor of improving high school quality.Traditional secondary school language teachers professional competence structure cannot meet the needs of the times,new times call for new secondary school languageteachers professional competence. Therefore,the study of secondary school languageteachers professional competence of great significance to the promotion of secondarylanguage education.The study adopts the method of investigation, self secondary language teachers’professional capacity situation questionnaire, through questionnaires and interviews tounderstand the current middle school language teachers teaching ability,skills,researchskills and teaching innovation performance in four areas of professional competencestatus. Data analysis of the survey results, according to the results of analysis of theproblems of his professional capacity, and to propose a solution for the problem.The study is divided into four parts:The first part of the main trends in the reform and development of China’ssecondary education research background, domestic and foreign teachers’professional ability to analyze and summarize the purpose and significance of thestudy,from both theoretical and practical aspects of analysis.The second part of the main set forth the elements of secondary school languageteachers professional competence. This study as a starting point from a basicunderstanding of the secondary school teachers’ professional competence, accordingto the requirements of the new curriculum standards, professional competence oflanguage teachers in secondary schools to rebuild, reconstruct professionalcompetence of language teachers: language teaching ability, interpersonal skills,research ability and innovation ability. In addition, it also includes the definition ofthe core concepts. The third part is the analysis of the survey data for this study. The investigationand analysis of the study by the reality of the four aspects of the secondary schoollanguage teachers teaching ability, interpersonal skills, research ability and innovationability, to explore the main problems of secondary school language teachersprofessional competence.The fourth part is based on the analysis of the results of the above survey, theproblems of Shulan City, Jilin Province, middle school language teachers professionalcompetence status put forward suggestions and countermeasures to enhance theprofessional competence of secondary school language teachers. |
